The Centre offers diagnostic and treatment services for patients' with various sleep-related medical disorders. In addition, The Centre serves as the focus for fundamental and clinical research on biologic rhythms, sleep-wake physiology, and their roles as determinants to health and disease. It also provides professional, technical, industrial/government, and public educational programs.

Our MISSION:

  • To provide exemplary diagnostic and clinical services to all patients presenting with sleep-related disorders.

  • To develop more effective, safe and efficient treatments for sleep-related medical and psychiatric disorders.

  • To understand the biology of circadian rhythms in health and disease.

  • To understand the roles of the neuro-immune and neuro-endocrine systems of the sleeping-waking brain in health and disease.

  • To understand the mechanisms of the biological time-keeping systems that affect the occurrence and treatment of disease.

  • To determine physiologic and behavioral functions of those engaged in nighttime or shift work in service industries and military defense operations; to advise on procedures that facilitate optimal work performance.
